Congratulations to Nicole Fagan and Donna Chimis, the Nathan Hale Elementary School #54BlueAppleAward winners.
As Hale’s literacy coach, Nicole always keeps the students at the forefront of her mind and truly wants the best for them. She finds ways to enrich our higher performing students, engage our on-level students, and provide additional support for approaching-level students during small group instruction. Her creative ideas and valuable insight have been greatly beneficial for our students on their reading journey.
Donna puts students first, even students that she is not assigned to support. She does this with patience and a drive to help all students reach their full potential. Donna makes sure students have peers and adults that make them feel included. She fosters a caring environment that always helps students grow.
