Welcome to the Wolf Pack. Nicole Darnall 6th Grade. Some fun facts about Nicole is she can eat tacos everyday if she could and she wants to swim with sharks one day. Happy to have her here at Hale!!!

We will test kindergarten through sixth grade students using the computer-based MAP assessments tool. The purpose of MAP Growth and MAP Reading Fluency (K-2) is to inform teachers of the immediate instructional needs of students. MAP results equip educators with key data to help personalize instruction and pinpoint individual student needs. Please note that MAP has updated their national norms in 2025 so you may see some variance in your student’s national percentile rank compared to your student’s past MAP assessments.

Dear Hale Families,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year!
We hope you’re enjoying a restful, fun-filled summer with your loved ones and that you enter August feeling refreshed, recharged, and ready for an exciting year ahead. The Hale staff is thrilled to welcome our students back and looks forward to continuing the strong school-home partnerships that help keep our community Pack Strong.
Whether you are a returning family or joining us for the very first time, please know that you are an important part of what makes Hale Elementary such a special place.
Please mark your calendars for Thursday, August 13, and join us for our annual PTA Back-to-School Night and Supply Drop-Off from 4:30–6:00 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child's teacher, drop off school supplies, reconnect with friends, and enjoy a sweet treat courtesy of our PTA.
We hope you enjoy the remainder of your summer. We can't wait to welcome everyone back and begin another wonderful year of learning, growth, and success together.
Sincerely,
Kristina Macnider and Heather Walz

This week, we wrapped up our final Key Player Assembly of the year, celebrating students at each grade level who demonstrated the keys of flexibility and the belief that failure leads to success. Students had a blast participating in a fun cup-stacking challenge!
